Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)

  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 8 equal cubes

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish (optional)

How to Make Baked Garlic Butter Cheese Bites

Step 1: Prepare the Biscuit Dough

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Separate the refrigerated biscuit dough into 8 individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch round circle.

Step 2: Fill with Cheese

Place one cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each biscuit round. Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese, pinching tightly to seal. Roll into a ball to fully encase the cheese. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, and salt. Mix until well blended.

Step 4: Bake the Cheese Bites

Brush the tops of the dough balls with half of the garlic butter mixture. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Remove from the oven and immediately brush with the remaining garlic butter.

Step 5: Serve

Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan (if using). Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping — or enjoy them just as they are!

Tips & Variations

  • Swap mozzarella with cheddar, pepper jack, or a blend of cheeses for extra flavor.

  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a spicy kick.

  • Pair with soup, salad, or pasta for a delicious side dish.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to keep them crispy.
